Clement Marandu is the Chief Financial Officer at Six Rivers Africa, where he leads the organisation’s financial strategy, planning, and management. With over 19 years of experience in finance, accounting, and administration, Clement plays a pivotal role in promoting financial accountability, sustainability, and transparency across the organisation.
Prior to joining Six Rivers Africa, Clement held senior roles at KPMG East Africa and Grant Thornton Uganda, specialising in public sector development. During this time, he gained deep expertise in budgeting, grant management, regulatory compliance including tax laws, financial reporting, internal controls corporate governance, and risk management.
Clement is deeply committed to leveraging sound financial governance to support impactful conservation work. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance from the University of Strathclyde (UK), a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-T). He also holds a Certificate in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) from ACCA.
